Belize
Belize is a great destination for first time travelers and for travelers seeking adventure. It is also an English speaking country and due to an easy conversion the US dollar is widely accepted in Belize. For adventurers, you can explore Mayan ruins, go spelunking and dive the Great Blue Hole.
Namibia
This less sought out African country is gaining popularity, visit before tourism explodes. The Skeleton Coast National Park has stunning landscapes, conservation is very important to this country and offers great opportunities for big game sightings.
Australia
Australia has so much to offer and has a never ending coastline. You can scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef, swim with humpback whales at Ningaloo Reef, explore the laneways of Melbourne and gaze up at the starry skies at Uluru.
La Paz, Mexico
La Paz is North of Cabo in Baja California Sur. A not so well known spot for swimming with whale sharks & sea lions. Nutrients collect in the bay attracted whale sharks every year in the winter months. Los Islotes sea lion colony is also a quick boat ride away.
The Seychelles
Like the Maldives, but even more secluded. I am sure you have seen pictures of turquoise beaches with giant boulders scattered about, that is the Seychelles. If you need to relax and escape life for a while, the Seychelles is a great destination.
Sri Lanka
If you have been there done that with Thailand or are looking for something different, Sri Lanka is a great option. Take the famous train around the countryside, spend time with local elephants and learn to surf in small beachside towns.
The Florida Keys
Caribbean island feel without leaving the country. Driving from Miami to Key West is one of the best road trips in the world, rent a convertible and drive over the seven mile bridge with the top down. The Keys are known for great fishing, scuba diving and key lime pie.
Hawaii
More airlines are flying to Hawaii these days, so that is making flights much cheaper this year. If you live on the West coast, go explore all the islands. Or if you live on the East coast, visit Hawaii for the first time. Each island has something different to offer, use a travel advisor to help choose which island is best for you!
