Honestly, everywhere I went in Australia was absolutely stunning. From sunrises to sunsets, koalas & kangaroos, the Great Barrier Reef to Great Ocean Road. It’s impossible to see all of Australia in 2 weeks, but I sure did try. Can’t wait to go back and explore more of Australia! Next on the list: Uluru & Ningaloo Reef.
Airlie Beach
This was my first night in Australia and I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. We went sailing while drinking champagne and watching the sunset.
I had never been skydiving before, but I knew when I did it had to be over water. Pictured is my husband skydiving over Airlie Beach.
The Whitsundays
One of the most beautiful views I have ever seen, pictured is the gorgeous Whitehaven Beach.
Great Barrier Reef
We took a flight over the Great Barrier Reef and the views did not disappoint.
Pictured is Heart Reef from up above with a shadow of our plane.
Beautiful reef while snorkeling with my friend who doesn’t dive. I loved the vibrant pink against the turquoise water.
A colorful little nudibranch on the Great Barrier Reef.
Melbourne
Beautiful street art on Hosier Lane in Melbourne.
We missed the penguins at sunrise, but got amazing boat reflections instead at St. Kilda Pier.
Great Ocean Road
Walking the beach at Gibson Steps with colossal cliffs towering over you.
A man O’ War washed up on Gibson Steps beach.
The Great Ocean Road has nonstop views, you’ll want to pullover for a picture every five minutes.
Watching the waves crush ashore at Loch Ard Gorge.
The 12 Apostles in the afternoon light, go in the morning for better lighting.
Gold Coast
Took a kangaroo selfie at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. I’m not big on selfies, but I couldn’t help myself.
A sleepy koala at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
Coombabah Lake Conservation Park is a great place to go see koalas and kangaroos in the wild, located in the Gold Coast. Pictured is a mom and her joey joyfully jumping around.
Distant city views while hiking Springbrook National Park.
Byron Bay
This is my all time favorite picture I took while in Australia. This is sunset at Broken Head Nature Reserve.
