I have visited 31 countries thus far, I would like to visit Japan and the Philippines next! I am not what you call a “country counter,” I like to really experience a country when I visit. For example, instead of visiting Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, I spent the whole two weeks exploring just Thailand. This list is to show you the countries I have visited, the countries where I have first hand experience and can guide you with the best possible knowledge.
Here are a list of the countries I have visited:
Aruba
I have been to Aruba twice, once as a kid and once with my husbands family.
Australia
Everywhere I went in Australia was absolutely stunning. I was able to make it to the Great Barrier Reef via Airlie Beach, Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road, the Gold Coast & Byron Bay in just two weeks!
Bahamas
I have been to the Exuma islands twice, once as a volunteer to conduct queen conch research for two weeks and once for my bachelorette party.
Belgium
We took the train into Brussels from Germany and did a day trip by train to Bruges.
Belize
I have been three times now and it is honestly one of my favorite countries I have visited. My first time we stayed in Hopkins and took a day trip from our resort to San Ignacio to explore Mayan ruins. My second time was with the Belize Tourism Board on the first dive familiarization trip. We stayed at two different resorts on private islands and we stayed one night in Ambergris Caye. For my third time, I hosted a small group on a reef & rainforest tour.
Bolivia
We visited La Paz, Uyuni & Lake Titicaca after our Peru trip.
Brazil
I went to the Brazilian Amazon on a FAM trip in March 2023 with Katerre Expeditions and Our Whole Village.
Canada
I have been to Quebec, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Toronto, Calgary & Banff.
China
We went to Beijing & Shanghai, Beijing was my favorite.
Colombia
Medellín, Guatapé & Cartagena
Costa Rica
Manuel Antonio and Arenal Volcano
Denmark
I did a long weekend in Copenhagen with some friends.
France
I went to Nice, Cannes & Eze with my dad in high school. I also spent a week hiking around Mont Blanc with Exodus Travels on a FAM trip in October 2023.
Germany
We started in Munich for Oktoberfest and then took a few trains to Kampbornhofen to stay in a castle. We explored Frankfurt once on a long layover.
Honduras
When I graduated college I went to Roatan to dive for two weeks.
Indonesia
In August of 2023 I went diving in the Gili Islands followed by a tour with Intrepid Travel around the island of Bali.
Ireland
I have been twice, once to County Kerry, Clare, and Galway & once to Dublin.
Italy
We went to Italy for a day of hiking on our Mont Blanc trip, not sure if I count it though.
Jamaica
Montego Bay Secrets Wild Orchid all-inclusive.
Jordan
I went to Jordan on an Intrepid Travel FAM trip in October 2022 and I quickly fell in love with the country. My favorite part was staying at a Bedouin camp in the Wadi Rum Desert.
Maldives
For our honeymoon we went to North Male & Baa Atoll, taking a liveaboard dive boat in between the two atolls.
Mexico
I have been to Mexico twice, once to La Paz & Isla Espíritu Santo and once to Isla Holbox.
Monaco
I visited Monaco on a day trip from France.
Morocco
We took the ferry from Spain to Tangier and took a bus to explore Chefchaouen.
Netherlands
We took the train into Amsterdam from Belgium. My favorite part was a dinner cruise through the canals.
New Zealand
We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday in New Zealand in March 2024. We did a self-drive from Aukland on the North Island all the way down to Queenstown on the South Island. Wine tasting, caving, sailing, kayaking and heli hiking are just a few things we did along the way.
Peru
I led my first group trip to Lima, the Amazon, Cusco, Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu.
Portugal
We started our trip in Lisbon and rented a car to go to the Algarve Coast.
Spain
We took a bus from Portugal to Seville & flew into Barcelona from Morocco.
Thailand
We explored Bangkok, Khao Lak, the Similan Islands, Krabi, Koh Phi Phi & Phuket on a two week trip.
United Arab Emirates
We stayed a few nights in Dubai after our honeymoon in the Maldives.
USA
I have been to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Ohio, Arizona, Montana, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina & South Carolina.
As for countries I have not visited, I am still capable of helping you plan your trip. I work along side local tour operators that have in depth knowledge of the destination, I get to know you and what you want and work with them so we can create the perfect itinerary!
